Stress is a common word for everyone to hear and to be honest the word itself really doesn’t sound so uplifting and positive. Although stress may be part of our normal day to day living, it is still up to us to find ways on how to deal with these stressors. In this article, we will discuss tips on how to manage or lower down our stress levels.

Tip #1: Change your mindset- Stress is common and inevitable in day to day lives, but it is up to us on how we would like to handle things and react to each situation that we encounter. Let us do our best to stay calm and avoid being reactive. People who easily gets stressed out are those who loves to react even on the smallest of things. Take a deep breath before you open your mind and speak.

Tip #2: Relax and de-stress- Find ways to relax even for such a short time to forget about a stressful event. Tip #4: Try out something new- Start a hobby or a new activity to keep you distracted from the things that causes you stress. You can also try and sweat things out at the gym to release endorphins which makes you feel better at the end of the day. You can also pursue a new hobby such as gardening or baking on your spare time. Others go out of town and spend time bonding with their family and friends which works best for many people.
